What we stand for

Every gift reaches a verified childThe Foundation runs on the federation's verified identity and safeguarding, so a scholarship or a grant reaches a real, checked student-athlete, never just a name on a spreadsheet.
Front line firstWe hold ourselves to keeping the great majority of every gift with student-athletes, not in overhead, and to reporting the split honestly once we are operating at scale.
Separate Foundation, one familyThe Foundation is a separate Canadian nonprofit pursuing charitable registration, with its own duties and governance alongside the federation.

Governance

The Foundation is governed as its own charity, with trustees accountable for how every gift is raised and spent. As we complete charity registration in Canada, the board and its published policies are being put in place. Until then we hold ourselves to the same safeguarding and verified-identity standards as the federation.

Family integration

The Foundation is legally separate from WUSFA but built on the same backbone. Applications, consent and safeguarding run through the federation's verified systems, so a guardian's consent, a school's status and a student's identity are all checked before a single dollar moves.

Where we are now

We are at the founding stage. The Foundation is standing up its first programs and completing its charity registration. We publish what is real and mark clearly what is still to come, we do not inflate numbers. When the first year closes, the full report and accounts go on the transparency page.
